Website treatment

The Formo website will take a very simple stylistic approach just like the print version. There has to be synergy between the two so keeping them similar in layout and style is a must. It will keep to a black white and grey colour scheme so when images are bought in they appear most vibrant and the real focus of the page.

Content will be different on each page according to page title. Again it will be aimed at 18-30 year olds so news about celebrities of the same age would be on there, things like ‘Angelina Jolie new hair cut’ for example.

There are pages for beauty, fashion, hair, and catwalk. Most of the content on the pages will be heavily written based on the celebrities as from research this is what they want to read about.

The homepage will feature news about what is in the latest issue of the print addition and release dates etc. most issues will have an interview with a current celebrity talking about fashion, hair, beauty and catwalk.

The images used on the site will be vibrant to stand out against the black and white colour scheme. Each page will have basically identical layout to keep it consistent and flow well. One colour will be used for the type on each page, dark grey for small font and a different colour for larger type. Font will be ‘Eurostile’ as it is what font was used in the print copy.
