List DCP's

HTTP: Hypertext Transfer Protocol: underlying protocol used by the world wide web. HTTP defines how messages are formatted and transmitted, and what actions web servers and browsers  should take in response to various commands.


WAP: Wireless Application protocol: secure specification that allows users to access information instantly via hand helD devices such as mobile phones, pagers, two-way radios, smart-phones and communicators


GMS: Global System for Mobile: one of the leading digital cellular systems. GSM uses narrowband TDMA, which allows eight simultaneous calls on the same radio frequency.


3G: third generation: 3G promises increased bandwidth, up to 384 Kbps when a device is stationary or moving at pedestrian speed, 128 Kbps in a car, and 2 Mbps in fixed applications. 


MMS: multimedia messaging service: 


GPRS General Packet Radio Service: for wireless communications which runs at speeds up to 115 kilobits per second, compared with current GSM 


Bluetooth: a standard: short-range radio technology (or wireless technology) aimed at simplifying communications among Internet devices and between devices and the Internet.


ADSL asymmetric digital subscriber line: is a type of DSL broadband communications technology used for connecting to the Internet. ADSL allows more data to be sent over existing copper telephone lines
broadband: high data rate connection to the Internet— typically contrasted withdial-up access using a 56 KBIT/S modem.


VOLP: voice over internet protocol: allows telephone calls to be made over computer networks like the internet

On you tube under the most viewed section. It was popular as it was published around the time that Inception a box office hit starring 'Leonardo Decaprio' came out so it was a widely searched thing at the time.
